Puppies

Our first litter born on 14 July 2006. It was a long night, at least we could go back to sleep. Peppy seemed to stay awake and alert for almost three weeks following the birth. More than we managed!

Cally

cally

Our only liver-spotted puppy. Named Caleche Arlecchina after the spotting of her pretty face suggested a harlequin. Cally is a very affectionate girl who was always the first to curl up on your lap. This was great fun when she was a puppy, and many adult Dalmatians insist on their preferred place to curl up. Her new owners may not be quite so keen when she weighs 30kg.

Pebble

pebble

As a puppy Pebble seemed to take after her father Sting, and hence we named her Caleche Daddy's Girl. Her face is like her father's, and her temperament in those early days suggests she is going to grow into an outgoing adult too. Her face is quite unusual for the absence of spots - just a beauty spot on her cheek - and what fantastic ears.

Ptolemy

ptolemy

The litter was born on Fourteenth July, also noted as Bastille Day, which became Ptolemy's registered name. He regularly sleeps on his back from very early on, just like an adult male. Fortunately Ptolemy's new family live fairly close, and we look forward to the occasional visit. He's grown into another friendly outgoing male. Must remember to lock the food cupboard next time he visits!

Taz

taz_dec06tazz_legbite

The first born and the last to leave us only because his new family were on holiday. Caleche Razzamatazz - Taz - has settled in the North. He sends regular snippets of news by email. Apparently he's better-behaved than the Labradors in his training classes - surely not the same eager Taz who left us?
